The Samsung ProXpress SL-M4030 monochrome laser printer has an OEM-rated print speed of 42 pages per minute (ppm) and a duty cycle of 120,000 pages per month. The SL-M4080 multifunction (MFP) version has the same print specifications, and with copy, scan and fax functions as standard.
Both models use the same 10,000 page standard yield and 20,000 page high yield all-in-one cartridge cores, although SKUs vary according to the geographic market that they are purchased in. All cartridges require a chip for correct printer operation.
